Downloads and installation

Download VirtualBox from . Click on the virtualbox download link and as we will be using windows to install virtualbox choose "windows hosts" to download windows version and install the virtualbox software on your windows system.

Visit ubuntu website , go to downloads link and click on ubuntu desktop. Download the ubuntu operating system. Make sure the file is completely downloaded.

Open VirtualBox by double clicking on the software image downloaded. VirtualBox manage window will be opened. Click on new and give a name to your virtual machine as "mbedtech" as shown in figure below. Then click Next.

Set the recommended memory size to 2048MB as shown in figure below. Then click Next.

Choose create a virtual hard disk now as shown in figure below. Then click Create.
